New Update For This Year

The server and site building software has been updated. Now there is a whole new site style. Generally its going to display the information in the same organized way but styling and colors are completely new. I should be adding new pages and stuff. Many of the original pages are disables as I walk through the Hugo source files and apply all of the layout and formatting changes. I’m going to maintain a To-Do.

I got a bunch of things done. Most things where cleaning up my house, doing chores, setting up a personal utility server, and securing my network etc. I also started work on a personal NVR and closed security network. I also set up my old Mac Studio to be a LLM and agent server. I’m trying to pull in all of the different services I’m using, and sometimes paying for, into my own network for security and to save money. Things are still going…

I got a tool box top chest for storing my large format special edition art books. Started packing everything I’m not using and putting it in my storage unit. Just doing normal cleanup work in the house and yard.

Obviously, I also updated my website styling and storage. Hopefully what I did hasn’t made the site complete unreadable or confusing, but then again I’m not sure I’m really worried about that kind of thing.

While handling health issues for a couple of years, I lost my job and decided to go on sabbatical for a couple of years. So I’ve been out of the loop for a while just to figure out what is happening and where I want to be and what to do. I put my profile on LinkedIn as “looking for work”. Hopefully I can get a job doing something that motivates me. Recent jobs haven’t really been like that.

I’m going to keep trying to get back the ability to actively see the FNORDs.
